In England as a ChildI was proud to grow up as a military child. My father was in the Air Force and this gave my family the wonderful opportunity to live and visit many different places. One of my favorite childhood memories was the time my family and I spent in England when I was in the 1st to 4th grade. How exciting it was when my sister visited me a couple of years ago, and what a treat it was to visit our childhood homes in Felixtowe and Woodbridge where we lived 40 years earlier. We had so much fun reminiscing about these wonderful memories and it was a special treat to see our next door neighbor. We even were invited to go into the house we used to live when we lived in Felixstowe! (photos below)

Here I am on Ranleigh Road, in Felixstowe England, the place my family and I lived when my dad served in the Air Force on RAF Bentwaters when I was a child. How exciting for my sister and I to actually have the opportunity as adults in 2010 to go into the home where we lived and to share my childhood memories with my own family!
