2015 Arts & Music Festival
What a Fabulous Success!!
Dear Parents & Students,
Please join us on Thursday, March 26th from 4:30-6:30 in the Great Hall to celebrate the outstanding arts and music programs we have here at Lakenheath Middle School including band, choir, video production, photography, guitar, drama, fine arts, and even culinary arts.
This afternoon will showcase Mr. Koupal's band playing your favorites... you'll think he’s Harry Connick, Jr. leading the show.
Ms. Macy, culinary arts teacher extraordinaire, will introduce her county-wide famous CATER CATS in uniforms that make Jamie Oliver cry.... Enjoy some of their dee-lightful and complimentary cookies and drinks!
Mr. Wedekind, production master of the LMS morning TV show and video production teacher, is looping videos created by students.
Mrs. Waddell’s digital creations will be proudly displayed with eye-catching colors & attention-grabbing taglines.
Mr. Henehan's guitar students will delight you with creative renditions making you think you're either in Madison Square Garden or the Grand Ole' Opry.
Stationed nearby is Mrs. Ali leading the dramatic performances that are NOT for the faint-of-heart-- crying, howling, and laughter-- not to be missed.
Duets, Trios AND Mrs. Potts, choir director-- perform your favorites with GUSTO-- all for free-- a little dance AND old-fashioned rhythm here and there.
Move on down to Mrs. Griffis's Fine Arts Museum with artists nearby to explain their designs and efforts. You don't get THIS kind of service at the Tate Gallery in London nor the Metropolitan in New York City.
There are a few more surprises we'll reveal that afternoon, so be sure not to miss the 2015 LMS Arts & Music Festival Teachers & Students on Thursday, March 26th from 4:30-6:30 in the Great Hall and beyond!
(Please see attached invitation)
Hope to see you there!

P.S. So as not to cause any confusion, please note that the title, "2015 LMS Arts & Music Festival" has been changed from the initial title of "An Afternoon of the Arts." They are the same event.
