"Christmas Cards for Single Airmen" |
Each year RAF Mildenhall spouses collect cookies to deliver to the airmen in dorms before the holidays. Along with the cookies, decorated cards are included. All LMS art students joined in by creating cards to bring a happy holiday greeting to let the airmen know they are thought about and very much appreciated for all they do!

"Art-Start Sketches" |
These are art sketches done during Art Start time, which is at the beginning of art class. Students have learned 20 "Secrets to Drawing," which have helped them to make their drawings look more realistic.

"Drip/Splatter Watercolor Animals"
|
Using the drip/splatter technique like Gerald Hendricks, and choosing a photograph of an animal of their choice, students created colorful, whimsical animals that are sure to bring a smile to your face!

Zentangle Portraits
|
Inspired by Maria Thomas students drew repetitive patterns to create beautiful designs and images on their portraits. Then they used various values of one color to give their portraits interest and the illusion of form. The process was fun, and the outcome was eye catching. Students even created Zentangle portraits of staff members, family and friends.
